Dance Parties and Outings
Along with Maya's Ballroom, we try to hold dance parties often so our students have a place to practice and socialize. For all dances: Everyone is welcome. We are a social dance studio so this is open to couples and singles. It's expected that you will dance with people other than your partner. This makes you a better dancer and will challenge your ability. We dance to DJ music and play a mix of Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Country & More with some fun surprises thrown in. Sometimes we have a themed dance - we encourage dressing up for the themes for that 'out of the ordinary' feel!
Bring a treat to share. We encourage you to bring your friends. We offer a beginner and intermediate group lesson before the dance, based on who is in attendance, so even our newest dancers can feel welcomed. No pre- registration is needed. Just show up!
